Have we answered your Question? - see below:
Q: Can I present my ticket on a phone or tablet?
Yes, your WalkTalkShow ticket is forwarded by email as soon as you make your purchase and it can be used either in digital or in printed format. Your guide will have your name on their list.
Q: How much do tickets cost?
Tickets are priced at £12 per adult [age 16+]. Children [aged 7-15] are priced at £8 each. Children under the age of 7 are welcome FREE of charge. All children must be supervised by an accompanying adult at all times.
Q: Can I get a refund if I don’t use my ticket?
You can cancel, for a full refund, as long as it’s more than 48hours before the scheduled start time. We may not be able refund if you fail to notify us more than 48hours before the scheduled start time of your tour.
Q: Can I switch dates/times after purchase?
In most circumstances, yes. Just contact us via email if you wish to change your booking date – and as long as it’s at least 48hours before your booking date we should be able to make the change, free of charge. Even within that timeframe we will do everything we can to accommodate you.
Q: What happens if I arrive late?
We meet at 10:30am (& 2pm in summer months) at the Gower Memorial in Bancroft Gardens. However, we don’t leave this meeting place (also our first stop) until about 10 minutes later – as we share an historical perspective from this venue. If you do arrive any later than this, we cannot guarantee you will be able to find the guide and join the tour.
Q: How long is the WalkTalkShow?
Typically our 2.1km (1.3 mile) route takes between 90 and 100 minutes – depending on the group dynamics. It is all on hard surfaces with no more than a couple of gentle inclines. It has been risk assessed and is Wheelchair/scooter friendly.
Q: What happens in bad weather?
As the old maxim goes – the show must go on. Only in exceptional circumstances will we cancel a tour – such as gales or dangerous frosts. In that event we will switch (times/dates) or refund your ticket in full – as you choose. Apart from that – please dress suitably and don’t forget your umbrella.
Q: Should I tip my Guide?
This is entirely at your discretion. You have paid for your ticket for which we are very grateful. However, our Guides put a huge effort into every Tour we deliver and if you really enjoy it then showing this with a tip is also greatly appreciated. Guiding is certainly not a path to unbounded riches!
